1. CAN NON-EU RESIDENTS USE YOUR CARE SERVICES IN EUROPE?
Yes. Our homes and live-in care options are open to clients from all over the world, including the United Kingdom, Australia, the USA, Canada, Dubai, and many other countries.
2. DO I NEED A VISA TO STAY IN A EUROPEAN CARE HOME?
Most visitors from outside the EU will need an appropriate visa or residence permit, depending on the length of stay. We can advise on the documents you may need and provide an invitation letter for your application.
3. HOW LONG CAN I STAY?
You can choose short-term stays for rest, recovery, or a trial period, or arrange longer residential care. The duration depends on your visa and personal needs.
4. CAN A CLIENT REMAIN IN THE SAME HOME FOR LIFE?
Yes. Our homes specialise in all types of care, allowing clients to remain in one residence for life, even as their needs evolve.
5. IS HEALTHCARE INCLUDED OR COVERED BY INSURANCE?
Basic personal and nursing care is included in our fees. For long-term stays linked to a visa, Czech health insurance is usually required. We can connect you with a suitable insurance provider and guide you through the process, so you can be sure you have the right cover before arrival.
6. HOW ARE PAYMENTS HANDLED, AND WHAT IF THERE ARE ISSUES?
Stays are invoiced monthly and paid from the client’s or their family’s funds. If any difficulties arise with payments, please inform the home’s management as soon as possible so that we can work together on a solution - such as adjusting the agreement, using insurance, or arranging family support. We also recommend setting aside a financial reserve or arranging supplementary insurance in your home country.
7. CAN FAMILY MEMBERS VISIT OR STAY NEARBY?
Absolutely. Relatives are welcome to visit, and we can suggest local accommodation or arrange guest stays when possible.
8. IN WHICH LANGUAGES IS SUPPORT AVAILABLE, AND HOW CAN FAMILIES STAY IN TOUCH?
Our team speaks English, German, and Czech. Families can connect every day via video calls, and we send weekly email updates about each resident’s well-being. We are also preparing a secure online platform to make daily updates available once it is launched.
9. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
We advise booking as early as possible - ideally a few months in advance - especially for long-term placements or during busy periods.
10. DO YOU PROVIDE AIRPORT TRANSFERS OR TRAVEL HELP?
Yes, we can arrange transfers from Prague or other major airports, and we’re happy to assist with travel planning.
